        高斌,美国佛罗里达大学农业与生物工程系副教授;在加入佛罗里达大学之前,分别在美国康奈尔大学(2005-2007)和耶鲁大学(2003-2005)从事博士后科研工作;2003年获得康奈尔大学环境工程博士学位;本科和硕士学位由南京大学分别于1997年和2000年授予。目前发表研究论文165篇(SCI 文章157篇),其中ESI高被引论文18篇;出版专著1部,参与著作8部。

报告摘要:

        Nanotechnology presents a double-edged sword to the environment. On one hand, it has immense potential in many green applications and holds the promise of exciting new solutions to environmental problems. On the other hand, there are potential contamination risks associated with various engineered and natural nanoparticles (NPs). This presentation summarizes recent research findings by my group on environmental impacts and applications of nanotechnology. It mainly focuses following topics: stability of NPs, fate and transport of NPs, and nano-based adsorbents for environmental applications. The presentation covers not only experimental and modeling results on fate and transport of various NPs in surface and subsurface runoff, but also synthesis, characterization, and applications of novel engineered nanomaterials.
