        Thomas J. Murphy, Jr served as mayor of Pittsburgh, USA from January 1994 until January 2006. Murphy is currently the senior resident fellow for urban development at the Urban Land Institute.

报告简介：

        Pittsburgh, USA was the steel capital of the US with heavy environmental pollutions. Present day Pittsburgh, where has attracted thousands of white-collar workers and the headquarters of multi-billion-dollar corporations, is regarded as one of the most livable cities.  As mayor of the city between 1994 and 2006, Murphy will share with us the transformation experience of Pittsburgh and how the local government contributed to those positive changes.
