  IliaOstrovsky是全球知名的海洋湖沼学家，任以色列海洋湖沼研究所教授、欧洲科学技术合作管理委员会成员，国际水协会（IWA）的湖泊水库管理专家组管理委员会委员，国际湖沼学学会以色列代表，曾作为以方科学家主持国家自然科学基金中以合作项目（2015-2018年度）。90年代初Ilia教授就任以色列海洋湖沼研究所以来，就一直围绕以色列唯一的饮用水源地加里利海(Kinneret)开展长期生态观测和水域生态系统研究，曾作为加里利海水生态研究室主任，领导科研团队为保障加里利海生态健康和以色列国家水质安全做出了重要贡献。

报告内容简介: 

Several remote sensing methods and acoustic devices can be used for investigation of different components of the aquatic ecosystems (e.g. fish, zooplankton, cyanobacteria). In combination with in-situ profiling and traditional sampling, these methods allow investigating the spatial distribution and temporal changes of these components to better forecast their changes in response to the ambient conditions. Acoustic sampling also permits studying the accumulation and dynamics of greenhouse gases (e.g. methane) in the bottom sediments and quantifying the rates of methane emission to the atmosphere.
